Half Black Angelfish
Half Black Angelfish (Centropyge vroliki)
The Half Black Angelfish showcases a distinctive coloration, with one half being black and the other pearled. To thrive, it necessitates a minimum 70-gallon tank with ample hiding spots, and it’s recommended to be the sole dwarf angelfish in the tank. Not suitable for reef environments, it may consume soft coral polyps, clam mantles, and zoanthids.
Breeding the Half Black Angelfish is challenging in an aquarium, with no discernible color differences between males and females. Its diet should encompass Spirulina, marine algae, mysis shrimp, and other meaty options, with live rock available for grazing.
