Lightning Maroon Clownfish
Lightning Maroon Clownfish (Premnas biaculeatus)
The Lightning Maroon Clownfish is distinguished by its maroon body adorned with three unique barring sections that resemble a lightning pattern. While they are social and can be kept in a school if the tank is large enough, they tend to be more aggressive than most clownfish and may become hostile towards other clownfish species.Clownfish are reef-safe and can be kept with peaceful invertebrates and corals. Most will readily host an anemone in the tank. Their diet should include a variety of frozen and live mysis and brine shrimp, along with spirulina, marine algae, nori, and algae-based foods, fed 2-3 times daily.
