Domino Damselfish (Dascyllus trimaculatus)

The 3-Spot Domino Damselfish, also known as the Three Spot Damselfish, Threespot Dascyllus, or Domino Damselfish, is distinguished by the three white spots on its black body. As it matures, this species becomes more aggressive, and its bright spots may fade. It often forms a symbiotic relationship with Stichodactyla species (Carpet Anemone) if one is present.A 30-gallon or larger aquarium is ideal for this fish. It is well-suited for beginners due to its tolerance for less-than-ideal water conditions. As it grows, the 3-Spot Domino Damselfish becomes more active and aggressive, making it a good choice to keep with larger tankmates. The diet of the 3-Spot Domino Damselfish should include a variety of meaty foods, herbivore preparations, and flaked foods.
