The Captive-Bred Neon Dottyback is a striking fish with a vibrant yellow to orange body adorned with neon blue stripes on its dorsal fin, gill cover, and tail. Once commonly imported from the Persian Gulf, this species is now rarely harvested from the wild. For optimal care, provide a 30-gallon or larger aquarium with ample hiding spots. The Neon Dottyback does well with moderately aggressive larger fish and is known to prey on bristleworms, though it may also eat ornamental shrimp. Feed the Captive-Bred Neon Dottyback a varied diet of carnivore-specific foods. In a reef aquarium, it should be fed once daily. Approximate Purchase Size: 1″ to 1-3/4″
