Black Ribbon Eel (Rhinomuraena Quaesita)

The Black Ribbon Eel, also known as the Leaf-Nosed Moray Eel, Bernis Eel, or Black Ribbon Fish, is a species of Moray Eel native to the lagoons and reefs of the Indo-Pacific Ocean. It is characterized by its slender body, high dorsal fins, and long, protruding nostrils.This eel species is reef-safe, reaching lengths of up to three feet or more in captivity and typically living for around three years. A minimum tank size of 75 gallons is required, with a pH level between 8.1 and 8.4, salinity ranging from 1.020 to 1.025, a water temperature of 72°F to 78°F, and moderate water flow. As adults, males develop a striking black body with a vibrant yellow dorsal fin, making them an attractive addition to home aquariums.
