Greenbanded Goby (Tigrigobius multifasciatus)

The Greenbanded Goby, previously known as Gobiosoma multifasciatum and now reclassified as Tigrigobius multifasciatus, is a striking addition to smaller reef or fish-only tanks. This peaceful species displays vivid green coloration with iridescent green vertical bands and a white head adorned with a brownish-red band across each eye. Ideal for a 10-gallon or larger aquarium, the Greenbanded Goby thrives around rockwork and décor and can be kept in small groups of three or more. In captivity, it often spawns, laying eggs in crevices or empty shells.
