Green Clown Goby
Green Clown Goby (Gobiodon atrangulatus)
The Green Clown Goby, also known as the Earspot Coral Goby, is commonly found in the reefs of the Indo-Pacific, often among soft and hard coral colonies. This small, stocky fish has a disproportionately large head and displays a range of color variations, typically showing yellow to greenish-tan hues with orange vertical stripes on its head. Known for its peaceful nature, it makes a delightful addition to a reef aquarium with polyp corals, where it enjoys swimming and hiding among the polyps, though it may nip at SPS corals. It thrives in a 10-gallon or larger aquarium with branching coral and is generally non-aggressive towards other fish, though it may become territorial with its own kind in smaller tanks. It is best kept with other docile species.
