The Tassle Filefish, also known as the Leafy Filefish, Koi Filefish or the Brush Filefish, is renowned for its distinctive appearance and intriguing behavior. or Prickly Leatherjacket Filefish, features a light body adorned with dark horizontal stripes, providing effective camouflage. This species thrives in a 180-gallon or larger aquarium that includes weedy areas, rocks, and at least one suitable shelter. It is a generally peaceful fish, posing no threat to tank mates except for members of its own family or closely related species.

For a balanced diet, the Tassle Filefish should be fed meaty foods such as chopped shrimp, squid, clams, fish, as well as frozen algae and vitamin-enriched foods. It should be fed at least three times a day.
