Twin Spot Signal Goby
Twin Spot Signal Goby (Signigobius biocellatus)
The Two Spot Goby, also known as the Twinspot Goby, Signal Goby, or Crabeye Goby, features a white body adorned with orange markings and distinctive eyespots on its erect dorsal fins.
This goby should be housed in a 10-gallon or larger aquarium with live sand as the substrate and an attached, populated refugium. While generally peaceful, it can be territorial and may fight with its own kind unless they are a mated pair.
Under optimal conditions, the Two Spot Goby can spawn successfully in an aquarium. It primarily feeds by sifting through sand for food and requires a diet of live or vitamin-enriched frozen brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, live black worms, and prepared carnivore foods.
