The Blood Red Hawkfish, also known as the Banded Hawkfish or Redbar Hawkfish, boasts a vivid red body adorned with bluish-white speckles on its face and light vertical stripes running along its body.

This species thrives in a 30-gallon or larger aquarium. It’s a robust fish, and any tank mates should be larger and at least semi-aggressive. Be aware that it will consume small fish and crustaceans.

To maintain its health, the Blood Red Hawkfish’s diet should consist of a variety of marine meats, frozen preparations, and live feeder shrimp.
