When it comes to marine reef fish that consistently capture our interest, the Tattoo Jawfish is certainly at the top of the list. Known exclusively from the deep waters of the Northwest Pacific, this elusive species has been brought to light through deep-sea fishing efforts by Japanese rare fish collectors, Deep Sea Challengers. While we’ve previously discussed the limited information available on the Tattoo Jawfish, we’re excited to share a new video showcasing this remarkable deep-sea resident.
