Its face and pectoral fins are accented with yellow, and darker flecks adorn its scales.To thrive, this species requires an aquarium of at least 180 gallons, equipped with rocks and caves for hiding. While it can be cautiously housed in a reef aquarium, be aware that it will eat any crustaceans and small fish. A varied diet of meaty foods is essential for the Pinktail Triggerfish, including squid, krill, clams, small fish, and hard-shelled shrimp, which help manage its continuously growing teeth.
