Starry Rabbitfish (Siganus sp.)

The Starry Rabbitfish, also known as the Starry Rabbit Fish, features a black and grey body adorned with tiny yellow speckles that evoke a starry night sky. Its yellow-trimmed tail enhances its celestial appearance.

This peaceful species does have a mildly venomous dorsal fin, so care should be taken when handling them. They require ample hiding spots in the aquarium, especially when first introduced, as they can be quite anxious. While they may occasionally nip at fleshy polyps, this behavior typically occurs only if they are underfed. With proper care, the Starry Rabbitfish makes a delightful addition to any reef tank.
