Yellow Foxface Rabbitfish (Siganus vulpinus)

The Foxface Lo, also known as the Foxface Rabbitfish, features a striking body coloration. Its mottled yellow-brown body contrasts with a dark chest, while its face is light-colored and speckled on the lower half. This hardy fish makes an excellent addition to newly established aquariums.

A 125-gallon or larger tank is recommended for the Foxface Lo. It is generally a peaceful species, though it may display aggression toward other Rabbitfish. It can coexist with more aggressive species, as its venomous dorsal spines deter potential predators. When well-fed, Rabbitfish are typically reef-safe, but if undernourished, they might nip at and consume some LPS and soft corals.

The Foxface Lo thrives on a diet of fresh vegetables and less desirable algae, though it may occasionally nip at both soft and hard coral polyps.
