Arc Eye Hawkfish (Paracirrhites Arcatus)

The Arc Eye Hawkfish, also known as the Arc-Eyed Hawkfish, features a vibrant orange body with a distinctive white horizontal stripe across its back half. Its operculum and eyes display a striking pattern of alternating blue and bright orange.

For this species, a tank of at least 30 gallons is recommended. Introduce the Arc Eye Hawkfish as the last addition to the tank, as it tends to become very territorial and may harass new arrivals, including other hawkfish and larger fish. In a reef setup, it may prey on crabs, shrimp, anemones, and smaller fish.
