Black Nox Angelfish
Black Nox Angelfish (Centropyge nox)
The Black Nox Angelfish, also referred to as the Midnight Angelfish, exhibits a uniform black coloration throughout its entire body. To provide optimal care, a tank of at least 70 gallons with abundant hiding places is recommended. It is advisable to keep the Black Nox Angelfish as the sole dwarf angelfish in the tank, as it is not conducive to reef environments due to its potential consumption of soft coral polyps, clam mantles, and zoanthids.
Breeding the Black Nox Angelfish in an aquarium poses significant challenges, and there are no discernible differences in color between males and females. Offer a well-rounded diet, including Spirulina, marine algae, mysis shrimp, and other meaty items, supplemented by live rock for grazing.
