Chainlink Eel
Chainlink Moray Eel
The Chain Eel, also known as the Chainlink Moray Eel or simply the Chain Moray Eel, features a striking white to yellow body adorned with distinctive brown, black, or gray chain-like markings.
This eel thrives in a 125-gallon or larger aquarium with plenty of hiding spots among coral and rocks. It typically remains concealed during the day and becomes active at night, foraging for food.
To keep a Chain Eel healthy, offer 2 to 3 live meals per week, such as grass shrimp or fiddler crabs. If it is reluctant to eat, try using a feeder stick to present live or frozen fish, krill, shrimp, or other crustacean flesh.
