Coral Beauty Angelfish
Coral Beauty Angelfish (Centropyge bispinosa)
Commonly found on the Great Barrier Reef, the Coral Beauty Angelfish, also known as the Twospined or Dusky Angelfish, displays a deep royal blue body and head, accentuated with iridescent orange to yellow hues. Renowned for its ease of care, it is one of the simplest angels to maintain.
For optimal well-being, the Coral Beauty Angelfish requires a tank of 70 gallons or larger, complete with numerous hiding spots and live rock for grazing. However, it is not recommended for reef environments, as it has a tendency to nip at stony and soft corals (sessile invertebrates).
Its diet should include Spirulina, marine algae, high-quality angelfish preparations, mysis or frozen shrimp, and other quality meaty foods.
