Huchtii Anthias

Hutchii Anthias (Pseudanthias huchtii)

The Huchtii Anthias, also called the Redcheek or Green Anthias, hails from the reefs of Cebu and the Solomon Islands. Males exhibit a yellowish-green hue with a distinctive orange stripe just behind the eye, and their fins are edged in electric blue, giving them a striking appearance. Females, though less vibrant than males, also feature the same orange stripe behind the eye. Known for their activity, these fish help encourage more timid species to emerge within the aquarium.
