Milk Spotted Puffer (Chelonodon patoca)

The Milk Spotted Puffer is a less common species and is best suited for a fish-only marine tank. It is also known as the Milk Spotted Toadfish and Marbled Puffer. This pufferfish features a grayish-white body adorned with irregular dark brown markings and distinct white spots above the midline, making it easily recognizable. As a member of the Tetraodontidae family, the Milk Spotted Puffer is a carnivore requiring a diet rich in meaty foods, primarily shellfish, to maintain its oral crushing plates. It will also accept a variety of frozen protein-rich foods and occasional live feeder shrimp. Approximate Purchase Size: 3″ to 4″.
