Scissortail Dartfish (Ptereleotris evides)

The Scissortail Goby, also known as the Scissortail Dartfish, features a white head and a vibrant blue body, complemented by its large dorsal and anal fins. This species should be kept in a 30-gallon or larger aquarium, equipped with plenty of loose coral rubble and a secure lid to prevent escapes. It needs ample swimming space and a sand substrate for burrowing. Although generally peaceful with other fish, it can be territorial and may exhibit aggression towards its own kind unless they are a mated pair.
