Tiger Jawfish Goby
Tiger Jawfish Goby (Opistognathus randalli)
The Tiger Watchman Goby, also known as Ward’s Sleeper, Ward’s Tiger, or Tiger Sleeper Goby, features a striking white body adorned with brown bands and an eyespot on its first dorsal fin.
For optimal care, house this goby in a 30-gallon or larger aquarium with a substrate of live sand and an attached, populated refugium. While generally peaceful with other fish, it is territorial and may fight with its own kind unless they are a male-female pair.
The Tiger Watchman Goby primarily feeds by sifting through the sand, and its diet should include a variety of live and frozen foods such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, live black worms, and prepared carnivore foods. Frequent feeding is essential.
